Fine art with an underlying Christian message.  Pastels, acrylic, oils, pencil, and mixed media are my tools. Flowers and beautiful landscapes bring us joy, and I want to share that reminder.  Don't we all need more joy from the beauty that surrounds us?

Portraits capture the essence and character of the individual and at times the common timelessness of relationships that humanity shares.  Life.  Whether it is suffering, abuse, being misunderstood, anger, loss, grief . . . it happens to all of us and I usually find the meaning after I have painted something - that there was indeed an underlying message to that painting.

My hope is that my art will encourage someone else along this journey we call life.
